General Manager - Great Falls, Montana

I was born in the Big Sky Country, and spent my youth and young adulthood in Bozeman, MT. I became interested in cooking at the age of fifteen while working in some local restaurants around town. It was not until late 1993 that I would start my career at Jaker’s after my move to Great Falls three years previous. Starting out with my passion, in the kitchen, it would only take four years for me to move my way into management. My leadership skills proved to be worthy as I was later asked to take charge of the Missoula Jaker’s.

I did not hesitate to move to Missoula in 1998 where I enjoyed the city and restaurant for two years. After this short time, I was once again willing to relocate, this time out of state, to Twin Falls, ID. Eight years of my time at the Twin Falls Jaker’s created the most popular restaurant in town. After a kitchen remodel and a menu rewrite, to include Asian cuisine, sales consistently grew. The new Asian flare and great leadership of the crew was a recipe for success so when I was offered the opportunity to buy in to the company the only logical answer was yes.

I have now come full circle as I am once again the General Manager of Jaker’s in Great Falls, Mt. I am not only known as a restaurateur, but also as an avid golfer, loving father, and outdoorsman. I was also reunited with a beautiful lady that I hired 20 years ago and needless to say it only took me two more years to marry the love of my life. Jaker’s is a growing company where I look forward to future opportunities and helping the company move in the right direction. Hard work and long hours have paid off, not only for me but also for the company that I have been loyal to for so many years.
